What bearing capacity do you need for your project?

Crane mats can be used for an endless number of applications. By using high-quality wood, bogmats have a high load-bearing capacity. To find out which bogmats you need, you will need to know the load-bearing capacity. This is because the maximum load of crane mats depends on two factors; the dimensions and the material.
- Sizes
Perhaps it sounds logical, but the larger the crane mats are, the more load-bearing capacity they have. At Welex, you can rent or buy crane mats from 3 to 12 meters. In addition, the thickness is also very important. Depending on which length of crane mats you need, you can choose from thicknesses of 7, 10, 15, 20 and 30 centimeters. - Material
Almost all our crane mats are made from Ekki wood. This wood is a particularly hard type of tropical hardwood. The wood has a cross grain which means it does not split or break easily. Its robust nature allows it to last for years, making it very durable. Ekki wood has a strength class (NEN-EN 1912 standard) of D70. This makes it, the strongest wood on the market.

Want to know what thickness of crane mats you are going to need? Our largest crane mats can support up to 1,200 tonnes. Don’t need that much load capacity? Then smaller, less thick crane mats may also be suitable for your project.
