Welex Group
Strength through connection
Our history dates back a long way, but the production of crane mats began in the late sixties with softwood. The wood was framed with steel to prevent quick weathering. Later on, we discovered Ekki wood in Africa. This type of wood is ideal for making crane mats because its robust cross-grained fiber eliminates the need for treatment or a steel frame. This makes the product extremely durable in use.
With 45 years of experience in crane mats, we have accumulated a wealth of knowledge and expertise, allowing us to provide our customers with the best advice. Honesty and reliability are highly valued by us, helping us maintain a strong relationship with our customers.
