Since 2025, we have three types of composite driving plates in our range.

  1. Composite Roadplate WX380 – A connectable powerhouse with buoyancy
  2. Composite Roadplate WH325 – A connectable, flexible, yet strong driving plate
  3. Composite Roadplate WL240 – And finally, a lightweight among driving plates, weighing only 36 kg each

Composite road plates Extreme

Our composite road plates X (WX380) are designed to easily connect to each other, allowing us to quickly create a stable surface on any terrain. The lightweight material even gives the plates the ability to float, making them perfect for use in marshy or waterlogged areas.

The road plates are double-sided and, therefore, versatile. The top side is suitable for pedestrians or standard vehicles, while the bottom side is specially designed for tracked vehicles. With a load capacity of 605 psi (415 tons/m²), our road plates can handle even the heaviest loads in various terrain conditions.

With a total dimension of 380 x 180 cm and a core thickness of 9.5 cm, our road plates provide a generous and stable surface of 6.84 m². Despite their size, these road plates weigh only 360 kg, allowing up to 475 m² per load to be transported in Europe.

Designed for the toughest jobs

Our composite road plates are specifically designed to provide safe access to construction sites under various conditions and soil types. They are made from high-quality materials, making them chemically inert, rot-resistant, and virtually impermeable to liquids – even in case of puncture – and they perform excellently across a wide temperature range from -40°C to +60°C.

Composite road plates Heavy

Our composite road plate H (WH325) is made of a single piece of pressed, recycled thermoplastic material that is resistant to chemicals and oil, and also offers UV protection. The road plate can be used on various surfaces and soil types. The road plates have a total dimension of 300 x 250 x 4,7 cm.

The plates are very strong, yet flexible. This allows the driving plate to bend with the surface.

After use, the plates can be easily hosed down.

Composite road plates Light

Our Composite Road Plates Light (WL240) are lightweight, allowing them to be laid by hand, and can be attached together with special metal mounting plates and bolts. This creates a sturdy and safe surface for pedestrians, cyclists, and (light) machinery.

The driving plates measure 240 x 120 x 1.7 cm and weigh approximately 36 kg each. This makes them easy to transport and keeps costs low, as many road plates can be loaded with the same load. So, if you can manage with lighter plates, we recommend our Composite Road Plates L.
