When you start piling your foundation during your construction project, this obviously involves a lot of large, heavy machinery. To protect the ground and provide a solid base for the machines, crane mats are used. Crane mats are long, thick beams of Ekki wood that are fastened together with steel pipes and bolts. Ekki wood is tropical hardwood of the highest quality. This guarantees extreme strength and because they have such a strong fibre, they are also super durable.
Applications foundation engineering
In foundation engineering, you have many different applications in which crane mats are the ideal ground reinforcement.
